Albert Icehouse & Dancehall
In the 1920s, a cavernous, tin-covered dancehall was built in the tiny “town” of Albert, Texas, and quickly became the community gathering spot for live music, ice-cold beer, and merrymaking in the Texas Hill Country. A decade later, thoughtful renovations and new ownership positioned Albert to revitalize the ghost town to its former glory.
Situation
Ready to reopen its dancehall doors, attract bigger-name bands, and increase paid boot traffic, Albert Icehouse & Dancehall needed a modernized web experience and recognizable look for newly ticketed performances in the legendary dancehall.
Brand Problem
Built on Shopify, alberttexas.com gave shoppers a consistent user experience—whether purchasing an event ticket or buying merch. Equally important to the store experience, the unique story of Albert was thoughtfully woven throughout the website. Emails promoting the weekly lineup, just-announced performances, and featured merch get shared weekly with subscribers. Monthly lineup posters and band flyers with easy-scan-to-purchase QR codes hang around the tiny town, increasing local awareness and ticket sales.
